Used the autoexec.bat and config.sys as you'd editted them, and the computer
hung as I indicate below in my message to Stac. Let me know if you don't think
it's their question. Thanks again for the help!
<<<<<<<<<Help!!!
I'm trying to get a clean boot of my system to see if either Netroom or Stacker
are causing a "Divide by zero" error when I try to launch Digital Processing
System's Personal Animation System software. Interestingly, I am able to launch
the software from Windows and bring up the interface, but the software will not
work entirely correctly in Windows.
I started by asking Helix software (makers of the memory manager that I use –
Netroom 3.02) to help me manually strip out their memory manager. This was
necessary because when I tried to use Netroom's Customize facility to remove
Netroom, but my computer hung right after Stacker.com loaded (right after the
Registered to information appears).
Unfortunately, after using the revised Autoexec. and config. files shown below
(based on my current settings), the computer STILL hangs after Stacker loads. I
cannot get Netroom out of the loop, and I'm not sure what to do next to have
the simplest startup files, while still allowing Stacker to load. >>>>>>
