Hello James! >> Pantone colors vs. Video colors This has always been a tough one. Pantone colors are made for print, video is totally different. Also, imagine he has a sphere of "his" color. Where is his color on the sphere? The ambient area, the diffuse area, or the highlight? Somewhere in between? How shiny, etc.? Perception is the most important in something like this. Scan in the Pantone color (assuming you have a chart) and use a paint program to get the RGB components of it. Start with that in the Materials Editor, and make an array of spheres on your screen, each with a slightly different RGB value. Then let your client decide which one he likes best! Not only is he then responsible <g>, we have found that the client is often happier at getting more input into the design process! Greg Pyros
