Not really. Get a satellite dish. Bypass the middle man all together and get
over 300 channels (though a great percentage of junk like all kinds of
preachers) including all the channels distributed by cable (the cable company
is nothing more than a couple of satellite dishes and a redistribution
network). You do have to pay for the premium channels just like cable but you
pay the source directly. It costs around $275 a year to get everything you
could want. The real great stuff is channel surfing (my preferred sport) and
you get to find the weirdest things.
