Off the top of my head here are a coupla' ideas for Planet Studio:
1. What's the best computer configuration for the type of work you intend to
do?
2. What's the best way to acheive a particular effect? (Glowing neon, live
action playing on an animated TV set, creating a forrest of trees, mapping
bricks on a complex building facade, architectural interior lighting, how to
make glass look like glass, realistic fabric textures, objects trailing each
other on the same path, adding titles to animations, etc.)
3. Where do I get? (Free meshes from Internet-CSERVE-BBS, meshes for a fee,
utilities, other support software)
4. How do I adjust/optimize my system for displaying consistent color for
print, video and VGA?
For added value and a way to justify the exorbitant cost for the magazine, how
about including a utility disk with each issue? You could include some .MLI
files, a simple IPAS, a few texture maps, etc.
