What type of sites have you found them in?
Oh Don have you by chance studied gravel under a microscope?
I have recently been reopening a small investigation of gravel.
What I find on gravel that has been removed from a gravel bed, not a river
gravel is an amazingly complex surface that shows no evidence of wear or
friction.
