Their basic concepts come from the Lendenmeyer book referenced on pg 12, but the actual file format structure was defined by Hayes and Rolf. I've asked Rolf to dig it up from the archives, and when he does I'll upload it here. Re your email… I got back on Monday night to about 40 messages sitting in my email-space, and I don't have any time to look at them until tomorrow (hopefully, maybe). If you asked a question about whether or not the MCS file format is documented, the answer is no. But if a developer was comitted to developing a utility that required it, I'd consider pulling Tom off of what he's doing for a few hours to write that up. 123456… THAT'S a good one.
