Steve – Sorry I must have worded my question wrongly. FORGET WORKBENCH!! – I know how to select WB backdrops and WBpatterns and different colors and different icons and,and,and……. The problem is before WB loads up – It is during the first few seconds of boot only (without it you just get a blank screen). There is a file accessed by the Startup Sequence called BOOTPIC, when you run this file it displays a picture (in my case a fake PC Windows type screen) – Thats all it does. The problem is I dont know how to edit the 'prefs' or whatever for that file because I cannot find anything. The problem is not that important I'll just take 'BOOTPIC' out of the StartUp and delete the thing – I just thought chances are someone out in the wierd and wonderful world of CompuServe may be using the same file in their Start Up ! – Andy
