#Backup strategy redux
On Aug. 31 I moved, so I've been offline for 2 weeks or so. As it turns out,
I'd left a message asking for advice regarding backup programs; my message, and
any replies, have long since scrolled off the edge of the Earth.
Well, the ol' Amy is plugged in again, and I sheepishly ask the same questions
again:
I would like to back up all 4 partitions of my main hard disk onto a Bernoulli
cartridge. I currently have Quarterback 4.1, which uses its own format to back
up to floppies. Since I want all 4 backups (and presumably, sets of incremental
backups) to coexist peacefully onto a single Bernoulli cartridge, I need a
program which can store backups as one large AmigaDOS file. Given that Central
Coast Software is no longer on Amigavend, what should I do? Upgrade my
Quarterback, or go with another program (which one?) Thanks for setting me
straight, yet again.
