1. Sounds plausible, but I don't know anything about NewTek's plans. Once you heard that LW was available for NT, what did you expect? It won't kill the Amiga in the U.S. for non-video people — at least, it won't make it any deader than it already is. I think video people don't realize who much less support their is for their non-video brethern. 2. Sounds plausible, but I doubt that most dealers still stocking Amiga stuff would refuse to sell Amigas if a customer came in and asked. Sure, maybe they won't stock new Amigas, but they'll certainly still have relationships with distributors and be able to order. As long as the new distributors don't make quotas a requirement for all dealerships… 3. Sounds plausible, but I doubt it. 4. What the hell would this mean technically? Get real. An Amiga with an Intel CPU is not only useless (what software!?!), but it is also blaspheme. A less than 100% compatible Windows is useless — Windows is barely compatible with itself and the software is mostly flaky. Get used to the idea of no radically new Amigas. The point of buying Commodore is to allow continued production of current machines, perhaps in a new package, for the next few years (or as long as there is demand). Anything like AAA is so far off that you might as well not worry about it, and the resources it would take are much larger than I'd think anyone has or is interested in spending. Dale L.
