A Mac wants more memory than an Amiga…
There is always DKB's 3128. You can add Zorro-III memory in up to 4 SIMMs
of 1(?), 4, 8 and 16 and 32 MB. While that'd mean a $200 (or whatever
board), you'd then have more standard memory. Depending on how quickly
you might move that RAM somewhere else or what you'd like your maximum RAM
capacity to be, that might be important to you.
In another five years you'll probably not want those SIMMs as badly, at
least not for moving them to a new machine. They might still be used, but
they might not. New (to the PC world) interleaved memory architechtures
to make slower RAM chips be used with fewer waitstates (since the capacity
of RAM doubles while the speed only increases 10%) might end up using a
different standard RAM module.
