Brian, What interrupts did you select for COM3 and COM4? BTW, I replaced that 40 MB hardcard that gave us such a problem starting last year (after solving the problem). I sold it and a RAM board for expanded memory to my brother to update his floppy Leading Edge XT computer. (The solution was an upgrade to Novell DOS 7 to use its 386 memory manager.) Now I have an external 330 MB Maxtor IDE drive. The extra room is luxurious! (Rats! I'm going to shoot my daughter because she let the cats in. They're so curious!)
