#CEI Update
David
The October issue of Amazing Computing for the Commodore (that will
change shortly) Amiga contains a four page exclusive interview with Alex. He
discusses his plans and his hopes for the Amiga.
This interview was only fair, since we started the CBM Buyout
competition with our David Pleasance Interview in the September issue of AC.
The October issue is mailing today to subscribers and should be in
stores the week of September 26. AC is now on a new schedule due to an extra
two week delay at the printer's due to overbooking (this issue was submitted to
the printer on August 24).
I have been in contact with both CEI and David Pleasance. Although both
groups would like to see this procedure over soon, I recently talked with
Franklyn Willson, the CBM liquidator, who expressed FIRMLY! that he has only
the best interests of the Creditors and that is his only priority.
The challenge is in keeping the Amiga community informed and in working
for a quick release of our beloved platform.
