I spent several weeks reading the documentation over and over looking for some useful information to tell me why the things I did over and over (per the manual) continued to fail. You really get my dander up when you make comments like this. Who are you? Do you have Amax IV up and running and making Mac LD images successfully via the Amiga LD floppy drive?
