Kevin,
Glad to here from you!
At Moraine Valley Com. College the prices vary from $150.00 to $200.00 per 8
hour a day class. I know many ATC prices are less than this with some higher.
Our 4 day Professional Level classes are 32 hours, cost is $595.00
How long should a class be???? Good question! If you really look at the
ojectives of a Pro Level I class for example, the end outcomes would dictate
that the class be 4 to 5 days in length. I believe that 4 to 5 days really
gives the client a quality product when he/she leaves your class. I know that
some professional level 1 classes are STILL taught in a 16 hour time frame. I
cannot believe this is still happening! HOWEVER, within the last year a
couple of us here have been attending seminars and workshops on class length
issues. What is interesting is that we are being told that 16 to 24 hours
is the MAXIMUM time someone can afford to be out of the office. 16 hours is
what you should shoot for!!!
The key is the outcomes you want your clients to leave your trianing session
with. Advertise the class, the class length and the class outcomes.
Good luck,
J.C. Malitzke
