SALARY STANDARDS?
I also would like to hear any replies to your question. In my case, I am
considering a job offer in Canada at a CD-ROM creation and system-integration
company as a 2D animator. As a senior tecnical writer I make $30/hr (on
contract), and I have heard that $50/hr (this is a contract job) is the
ballpark (CAN newsletter) for computer animation. Yet this company has started
off by mentioning a rate of $17/hr. I don't know what to make of it. (By the
way, cost of living here is probably about 50% higher than down there.) I look
forward to replies to this issue in general.
