Christopher, Here in the San Francisco Bay Area, there is _incredible_ demand from multimedia companies (CD-ROM titles), "regular" software publishers, video production houses, and especially computer game companies, for people with 3D experience. You could contact some corporate recruiters in this area, if you're willing to move here. You could also grab a list of companies you're interested in and start hitting on them. When I went to Siggraph in Orlando a couple of months ago, there was a huge wall filled with companies looking for 3D modelers and animators — including Industrial Light and Magic and many Hollywood effects houses. If you want further info, just drop me a line. But rest assured — this is the field to be in. (It's also a lot of fun.) — Jon
