Are you trying to send Internet email from CompuServe or via another host
system? If it is CompuServe and you are using AmigaDos 2.04 or higher and
have a harddrive, AutoPilot would give you both the graphic user interface
and an easier way to send Internet email.
Internet does not translate ASCII files "into Unix files for
transmission". ASCII (7-bit) is the format used for Internet email. Some
email systems will translate binary documents (including word processing
document files) into "UUENCODED" files (ASCII representation of a binary
file) to allow transmission.
