Drawing others into being active here is my pleasure; more people makes this
place more interesting, drawing still more people, making it more interesting
to me as well. I look forward to when we get a significant fraction of the
rockhound world in one on-line place – that would be a formidable resource for
information.
It will be interesting to see if your mention of archaeology draws any
responses. You might want to post a message detailing your work in the subject
with a topic mentioning archaeo and see if it draws any other archaeologists
out of lurker-land. I expect you and the fossil collectors we already have
seen here will have a number of things to talk about, even if your fossils are
too young for them.
Found any interesting minerals while digging for bones? Do you throw them
away, or what?
