I do not know if that USGS BBS number Criag gave you (thanks, Criag!) has the info you are looking for; in case it does not, you might try (1) sending your original inquiry by CompuServe mail to ">INTERNET:rocks-and-fossils@athena.mit.edu" (without the quotes), which will forward it to a list of people who might have more answers (see the "Internet…" topic in this same section's messages for more), and/or (2) using CompuServe's GO IQUEST service, through which you can access GEOREFS, a database of earth science publication references, including professional publications. Notice also GEOINF.ZIP in this forum's library; it tells of the GeoInfo network, another possible source of information, though once again it appears to be all via phone numbers in the U.S.A.
