Hi Min-Wei
sounds to me like problem is "palete flash."
it caused by grinding of digital gears when new palette is loaded for new
segment. Yes it is very ugly!
if you are using either Hi or Low palette options in 3DS there is no
guarentee that last frame of segment "A" will have any thing close to first
frame of segment "B".
two "cures" i know of
one is to use Custom Palette
first render representive frames – include first, last and
about 1-10% ; the number of frames depends on how much colors change during
animation * use Hi Palette option – this creates unique palette for
each frame
[you may want to use reduced resolution – 320 x200 to
go faster ]
then load FLC in Ani Pro
Use One Palette command
save palette – be sure to put in Maps directory for 3DS
then go back to 3Ds * render segments using Custom Palette
option ( you have to tell it name of palette)
this will give you FLICs that have same palette – every frame –
you may notice that there is more color banding and
less pleasing images – but flash should be gone
second solution is to fade to and from black between segments during
playback using scrip commands
(I suspects this only hides the flash)
[I sometimes use a 2 frame flic that is all black to
keep black on screen for ~ half second – looks like was done intentionaly
then]
perhaps for your 1000 frames – the best solution is to use both – use
several custom palettes for segments with close color matching
and fade to black when you need to change palettes to keep colors more
accurate.
I hope this is reasonably clear – try with some simple samples.
& there is some discussion in manuals – I'm not sure exactly where.
good luck
