He is sitting with me right now. He wants to know what kind of fossils you
are interested in. (He's the one who found the Parkville site.) His comments
follow:
"Common fossils include fusulinids, horn corals, sponges, bryozoans,
brachiopods, gastropods, pelecypods, and crinoid fragments;
Articulated crinoids, trilobites and other arthropods, cephalopods, and fish
bones and teeth are present, but are somewhat difficult to find. Plants, such
as the ones at Parkville, are found at widely scattered sites, but abundant
when found. This currently is the only plant site that I know of that hasn't
been depleted."
