What do you mean the GDI is still 16-bit? From all that I've been reading, which could very well be written in a marketing sense, "Win95" is a true 32-bit OS. That to me means that if you are using 32-bit apps, you have a 32-bit system, not 16-bit here, 32-bit there, unless you are referring to the "Windows 3.1, 3.11" emulation which will be used to run those programs in the new OS. Oh, and uh DOS programs too. Maybe there will be a version for NT coming. I like you am skeptical of the new low-end Win95, and I've got my eye on Daytona (Open-GL) is being incorporated in that version also from what I read.
