The thing is I don't want to buy an accelerator for the a500 as I want to
upgrade the a1200. But if I can use both then I will.
Renaming a jpg to a jfif does work, but the main reason I want it for is to
view jpeg images in amosaic. Then I don't have a chance to rename them (besides
renaming a load of files is a pain that I don't really want to live with).
What is the point of making a jpeg datatype 020 only, is there going to be that
much of an increase in speed? If it is written in C then why not have 2
versions. If it is written in assembler then the small parts of the code that
are dependant on processor type could be conditionally assembled.
