George, I sat at the same place as you are at for a couple of weeks until I Dl'd Thor TCP from their Web page and read the docs. Thor Tcp is not a replacement for AmiTCP. What it does is, lets you forget all the packets crap in the Docs. It gives you an (Ami)TCP option in config Thor. Once I got past that point, working through the rest was a snap. Once you get it up and running. You set your buisness in the Thor Program and connect Thor takes care of the information exchange. One problem is that CIS does not support a POP mail client so Thor won't do you much good for e-mail. Hope I helped you over the hump. Jim
