I agree with Michael, if you run an unaccelarted A2000 with more than 19200, you might cause trouble. Some programs work fine with a plain 68000 and 38k… but just some. Solutions: the cheapest solution is to get an IO board. As these boards use buffered IO, they require much less CPU time and thus offer even 115k with a plain A2000. The usualy sell for US$75. Beside: these boards also offer a faster parallel port for printing.
