It pretty much sounds like you are having a serious hardware problem. I assume
you have problems with your printer cable or CIA chips.
The hardware checked out fine.
On the manual try to find a new Amiga user have them install your software and
write down all the questions they start asking.
Don't take the manual issue personaly. I have convinced 3 other people to use
Amigas and they suffer from the same thing. Seems as though all of the Amiga
software is designed for people using the Amiga since 1985. Even the 3.1
manuals assume this as it just glosses over the assigns,datatypes,monitor
drivers ect.
I wish I could help more with sugestions.
Printing is a sore spot with me and my Amiga's. My PC does a better job and I
hate that machine.
