A2000HD still ALIVE
I'd be VERY interested in your system if it has at least 1MB of Chip RAM. I,
too have moved on to PCs, but I simply can't find a good replacement for
PageStream v2.2 DTP in Windows (I've tried Aldus PageMaker, Serif's PagePlus, &
MS Publisher – the latter being the most usable, but not terribly flexible).
Besides, I have many games I'll always want to play from time to time.
I hate Windoze with a passion, but the rest of the world has more than fallen
for Microsoft's marketing clout – hook, line, & sinker (Tell me what other
company could even hope to pull off delays to an important software package for
nearly three years and still have EVERYBODY beating down their doors for it!).
I still love my Amiga… but it needs a little updating. An A1000 that's been
expanded practically to the max tends to take up a lot of desk space (more than
even your "paperweight" does!).
If it has 1MB Chip RAM (run "avail" at the CLI to check), then what say you to
$200 – $225?
