>> Perspective does NOT maintain FOV << The perspective control actually manipulates 2 settings for your camera. One setting is the "Dolly" or the position away from your object, and the other is the FOV. The purpose of the control is to keep your scene size the same, but alter the perspective created by the lens/distance combination. In theory, what you did in your animation should create something like the Hitchcock Vertigo effect (the famous staircase shot) where objects in the scene will appear to either spread apart or move together while the overall extents of your frame remain the same overall size. The problem you are having sounds like it's related to the bias/continuity settings for your keys. Try setting the continuity to 0 at both frames 0 and 30 AND for both camera adjustments POSITION and FOV. I'll try it here when I have a moment. – Dave
