Jerome, keep in mind that Corel *bought* it's raytracing abilities.
The Yost Group typically writes their own stuff, or provides a way for others
to contribute. This way of thinking, I feel, is neither ignorant nor arrogant.
I just don't want you to be too dismayed if MAX doesn't ship with RT
capabilities. Whether it does or not, I feel quite sure we'll have many options
very soon.
