Bob, I've been on vacation for the last two weeks so i'm just beginning to catch up on some things. The problem that i'm having with the ATI card is found no matter what meshes i'm trying to render. It happens when i try to render any of the sample meshes that come with 3ds. Thanks anyway. I'm interested in a couple of things though. First, now that 3ds will be running under Windows NT, what platform do you think will have the best performance. I've seen some stuff on the DEC Alpha systems and it looks promising. Second, i've talked to lightscape in the last month and am interested in using their software to model the invention factory over at the Roebling complex. I know that it currently runs on SGI. Will it be working on other platforms as well ? (ie,. DEC). Ed
