I agree with Claus (Msg #287). Wait till "Max" comes out, and get your
best-deal system then. Your current 486 is ok for learning 3DS "Classic" and
even scraping by with NT 3.51 ( Back up your system, make a NTFS partition, run
Photoshop under NT on it, and learn those ropes – you'll be "converted"). Just
prepare to spend some dough when you really want to have a functional, high
performance NT system.
