Is your swap file going to the same disk as your image files? Usually, your
swap disk is the disk where your 3ds.exe file is. You change the swap disk by
running cfig386, which is documented in the 3ds Installation Guide. Just make
sure you don't set your swap disk to a network drive <g>. It would tend to
slow things down a tad….
If you are swapping to a disk that has plenty of room, leave another message
giving your configuration (ram, # disks, load directory, image directory, etc).
