I was able to disengage the PAR from the Plug and Play Bios by unchecking the
Configuration box which effectively disabled the IRQ and base address setting
which Win 95 assigned the PAR. This freed up the interrupt but had no effect
on PARVCR's ability to read the PAR's directory. Which means its probably a PAR
driver problem.
This doesn't help but thought you might be interested to know.
