#AVI Problems
I am working on a multimedia app using Animator to create the AVI and the MS
Win multimedia player to play it back. The playback is choppy. Also, it seems
the file is being read in completely before playback begins. I have seen other
apps (Alistair Alien Invasion which uses WinToon and the CD which came with PC
Mag this month) play back smoothly even at 1024×760. Is there a certain
compression I should be using? Key frame rate? Other software package? I
know I'm doing something monstrously wrong but can't figure out what it is.
The AVI is only a couple of meg and we just want to play it at 640×480,
preferably through a VB app.
