Barry, <<Just purchased AAS in hopes of using it to produce animation for output to video. Can you tell me what it will take to get a decent quality for reproduction on tape (not broadcast quality, but needs to be good enough for one generation of dubs) like 640X480 output to Hi-8. Looking for most cost effective but need clean results. I'm investigating two alternatives right now; Sanyo GVR 955 or DPS Personal Animation Recorder.>> Those options will both work, but I would go for the PAR (or the newer PVR) if possible, since single frame recording to tape is much slower, and puts undue strain on the drive mechanism. I have a 955, but don't use it for single frame recording, having recently purchased a FAST Video Machine – Digital Player/Recorder, which works great for recording animations, both 2D and 3D. -Marc
