k, <<I hope you didn't misunderstand what I said about rap and heavy metal.>> Nope. I didn't misunderstand. But you misspelled it again. The "C" is ALWAYS written AND enunciated – CRAP <<There is much that I like in today's music. I could create a list of all the <<groups I like, but that would make somebody upset because I'm being too <<verbose again. Who cares? I'm going to get attacked anyway. <sigh> There, there, k. We've been shifted to a kinder and gentler place that welcomes verbosity with big, fat, sweaty arms. Gimme more, big boy! <<I like everything by Roy Orbison. <<I was invited on to his R.V. one evening after a concert he did in Austin. <<Shook his hand. Took some photos. A memorable event. I know I met a saint. One of my lifelong favorites. Yes, he must be a saint. <<When Bob B, came down to New Orleans>> What's a Bob B? <<The "noise of the sixties" called for revolution and it spoke of <<love and peace. The "noise of today" calls for anarchy and is rife with <<hatred for fellow man and contempt for women.>> The "noise of the sixties, seventies, eighties, and now the nineties" calls for joints, acid, cocaine, angel dust, crack, heroin, white lady, white horse, smack, pcp, you name it. But I never payed much attention to the lyrics. If its got a good bottom beat and a stunning guitar rif (Stairway to Heaven, Hotel California, Locomotive Breath, etc), I generally like it. I don't buy tapes or CD's, just listen to the FM. …B. -= Sitting on the highway in a broken van =- Thinking of youuuuu, again.
