Bill, You're too much sometimes. Just because you don't _think_ there's a use means nothing. Pyros' routines save much time over doing it manually which in itself is a very important use. I for one wouldn't want to try and duplicate a quatro effect manually. And as it's been pointed out to you Python can do things that opacity mapping cannot. Besides Python is cheap so who cares. I just don't understand why you get bent on these flame messages sometimes. You should think more before you write. DM
