M&M: Perhaps the reason your messages are received as so "negative", is that often we go months at a time without seeing a single message from you, and then *BOOM*, we see a whole slew of rather long messages that are majoritively critical of something or the other (be it 3DS, misc IPAS routines, whatever). Also, your critiques seem to take the tack of "such-and-such wasn't done right", when it may have been the result of a tradeoff-decision made with full knowledge of the resultant limitations — thus it may have been "done _right_", but based on a poor (in hindsight) decision. Saying something isn't done right is an indirect attack on the abilities of the creator. Combine that with the fact that you at times continue carping on some fact LONG after everyone here has become very aware of your position (ie the naming of r4). Even those of us who agree with you (as I do on the r4 name thing, for instance) get really tired and put-off by the way it "sneaks" into every message. Perhaps now that you will be appearing more frequently, and thus will be able to partake in more discussion (and hence contribute more than a bunch of "this wasn't done right" messages), people's perceptions of you will change. (For instance, I seem to recall that you have quite a gift for explaining complex issues or steps to people.) I certainly hope so. Dave
