How about taking your idea a little further?
Who NEEDS airplanes? We have cars. I can get in my car anywhere,
there still are some difficulties crossing the ocean, but normal people
don't need it. And, look, I can get to some places (like my mother-in-law
house)
on my car faster then planes. So, who needs them? Let's banish them. If I don't
use
them, why anybody should?
I can't think of any PLACE where I could not get with my CAR. Can you?
