Bob, << Can a virus be created unintentionally or are all of them purposeful creations . . . ? >> I believe they are all deliberately created. Most have "funny" little messages which pop up to add insult to injury. The Anti-Exe virus is interesting as it is a stealth virus which was designed to evade detection by virus detection programs. The good news is that it was poorly designed (insufficient beta testing?) and can be easily detected and removed. Alec Jason
