<<explain the probability to me…Are you counting an in-out-in-out sequence or what?>> Right, there's a 50% chance that either the first or last frame of the selected clip segment will be the frame you want to edit on. It will be either the first frame of the ColorFrame or the second. So only half the time when the end frame is the one you want, will the next clip's start frame also be the one you want. Half of half is 25%. Basically the Flyer is incapable of true frame accurate edits on demand. It plays exactly the frames you select, but it restricts your selection. Not a problem for lots of people, but yes a problem for lots of others. I DON'T KNOW FOR A FACT,,, but my guess is that where the colorframe starts compared to where you need it to start is random. If so; if you redigitize several times you should get it to start where you need it. (Or NewTek could add a function to bump the colorframe over by one frame–if that's technically possible.) Then the problem is trying to get both the head and tail of the clip to start AND end where you want, if necessary. Again a 50% chance of being able to get both. So the chance of being able to do a frame accurate edit on both ends of a single clip segment becomes 1 in 8 (I think). For both ends of two adjoining clips (4 precise frames) it goes to 1 in 16 (impractical at best). [Or slightly better if you try redigitizing a clip to reposition the frame/colorframe.] For 3 adjoining clips each needing frame accurate positioning on both ends, figure it as a virtual impossibility.
