That reminds me… we now have something new in LightWave to consider. It's segement memory. I typed in a number greater than my machine and it set back at 41.2 megs available for the segmenyt render. It seems you can now use whatever memory is on board for less rendering time. (3.5 only allowed 32megs maximum). My contigious memory is 2 16's on the warp. Mother board has another 16 at 70 ns. Maybe you could try a standard render with your 50 megs in segment work, and let us know how how it compares to say, 32 megs of segment memory. THE VIDEO GUY- a professional video taping service
