<<<I figure the 200 crouton limit (which equals 400 files — clip plus clip.I
file) is related to the problem a couple of others were having with framestore
directories with more than 400 files. It seems to be a magic number that trips
up either AmigaDOS or the Flyer OS.
Anyone aware of a "number of files per directory" limitation in AmigaDOS?>>>

Don't know much about AmigaDOS but that seems kinda strange at any rate. PC
DOS has (or had) directory limitations. I haven't had the occassion to load
that much onto my Flyer – yet.
<<<Not with respect to audio problems. But any project over six minutes in
4.04b and earlier stuttered. Perhaps 4.06 will improve things for you
there.>>>
What's troubling is that I played back 15 minute and longer projects in 4.03.
Now a project that played back in 4.03 won't play right in the new software
(4.05). I think I should reformat my drives again since I've installed 4.05. I
have been reformatting every time after I clear off a project – but I haven't
done it since updating.
