Martin, I talked with two vendors today. The most promising is AccelGraphics. They have a card with 8megs each for VRAM and DRAM (1600×1200@24 bit) that will support OpenGL, Hoops (HDI), Autocad R12, R13, and a bunch of other stuff. Its not out yet but they are working closly with Autodesk on MAX. They will call me in Oct/Nov when it comes out. I've got a few more verdors to talk to yet. The Alpha train is chuggin' on down the tracks. My vendor called to day and is sending me the spec sheets. It appears the board will hold 1 Gig of RAM per CPU. Also, it appeas dual or quad P6's are in a holding pattern right now. The chip sets for the P6's to do SMP are not totally bug free. SMP is out until further notice. Single P6's only. Makes Alphas look real good. Mark
