Peter, I did a project for Mclellan Air-Force base in sacremento which required the best of everything. We found that an image of a reasonable pixel count, output to a 4"x5" transparency than enlarged to photograghically to a big photograghic print was indistingable from a real photographic print because the pixels only slightly ounumbered the grains of the film.
