Ian… I think we'll be going the PCI PVR route and will also have the AD-2500 daughterboard. Now we are searching for a board/system that will carry both without hitting them… and still allow enough extra slots for network, scanner, modem and video cards. Hopefully it'll also have built in dual channel EIDE, FDD controller, 2 serials and 1 parallel. Did I understand you right that the PAR's disk controller is not built into the PAR itself? I was under the impression that these cards had built-in controllers and all one had to do is run a ribbon cable from the card to the drive, connect the power cable and that was it. Lastly, I'm not on the net (yet) so I've been calling DPS once in a while for advice… but they have meager tech support availability, but once you get'em, they are fine. \\\. ========================= >-==<MIKE(>=– >-==*- /
