I checked ALL the settings many times over. (and tried many variations) I can't believe it- I spent the *WHOLE day* trying to get it to work. I downloaded 2 versions of the drivers (ASOFT's drivers aren't the latest, nor updated by DPS- BTW), and even new SoundBlaster drivers. All hot off the presses. I called DPS' tech support 4-5 times today as well. As a result of the first discussion, I updated the PAR drivers (2 700k versions total)- same problem, second time was new Soundblaster (700k) drivers- same problem, and the last time I never got called back. (4 PM or so) Very frustrating. The sound works perfectly for Windows sounds, and Sound Recorder. I even downloaded _Cool Wave_ (700k) to make sure the sound worked with a "real" app. Flawless. Fortunately, the video isn't a talking head, but a voice-over, so things don't need to match perfectly- so I ended recording them separately. I'll deal with the rest tomorrow.
