Usually the vertices shooting off into space is a virus-related problem.
Check the computer for any such beasts, and reload from the original disks. If
it still occurs, time to involve your dealer, maybe get a new set of disks.
Any of the dealers in the Orange/L.A. County areas should be able to give you
