Hello David,
Sculptor is a NURBs modeler inside 3D Studio. Release 1.0 has been in
beta since it was shown at SIGGRAPH. Sculptor should be ready to ship about a
week from this friday. A demo program will be available shortly.
The interface for Sculptor duplicates the screen menus, viewports and
keyboard shortcuts in 3D Studio and adds an icon bar down the left side of the
screen. Sculptor is a powerful modeling tool. It also includes two different
methods for optimizing the models which take advantage of the surface
mathmatics.
