Gary: Just to let you know, it seems that many of the CDROM
compatability problems when using the Emplant's SCSI port has been
traced to the LOGIC 53C80 SCSI controller chip used in many of deluxe
Emplant's. Although Jim hasn't stated this himself, apparently if you
are having problems Utilities Unlimited will replace the chip. I get
the SCSI lockup myself every once in awhile on my Toshiba 3401 on the
Emplant SCSI port but it hasn't been enough of a pain yet for me to
get the new chip.
